"Cahiers Cinématografiques des Pays-Bas" (Cinematographic Files of the Low Countries) once was described as "a hole dug into time". And indeed do the used techniques (like for instance speeding-up the tempo by using a handle instead of the camera-mechanism) make us aware of the Dutch city of The Hague (where the artist studied and worked at Psychopolis - The Free Academy at the time) as a restless unit, in which people and trams are rolling on like the waves of the endless ocean of time.
