Het Onpeilbare (1975)

"Het Onpeilbare" (“The Unfathomable”) is the name of an I Ching-hexagram. In fact, it's twice the trigram "water": water over water.

H (who portrayed himself as a naked man hesitatingly searching a suitcase filled with- what?) set this film up following the scheme of the hexagram: six scenes, four with man & suitcase (the "divided" lines of the hexagram) and two with an empty chair (the "undivided" lines).

Music: "4 Studies for Korg MS 20 number 3" (opus 465. 2007) from his cd "Death of Komarov". Movie number 78 (original footage 1975, colouring 2010).
